Our sister my mother Phyllis Gilliam 6th child and our father Douglas Newell first born was taken from us in a car accident. By a careless driver who was speeding and ran a red light and struck her on driver side and took her by impact in Biloxi, Mississippi. This is hard to have to come and ask for help for my sister but We need your help.
Lashawnda had the most beautiful spirit. Out of all her siblings she was the that brought the light with her smile. She moved to Mississippi to make a better life for her children. She had an voice of an angel. She grew up singing in the church and my God when she open her mouth up you could definitely feel the the holy spirit. She wanted to share her gift with the world. She started singing trying to get her music out. She was a singer, song writer and producer. All she talked about was making a better life for her girls. She work hard to make sure her girls had everything they needed and more. Weeks before she was taken away from us she sign up for a construction program for women. She wanted to build her community so she felt that would be the way to start. She had so many ideals of bring some of Minnesota to Mississippi. To help people. Two days before she was taken away from us. She was accepted into the construction program. My baby sister was on her way to making her dreams a reality with her visions of building and making her self know as "NOLA SKII". If you knew her you knew her to be loving, supoortive, caring. She always wanted to help others. She was about family. You didnt have to be blood to be family. As we have been down in Mississippi we have learned so much and how so many lives she touch and so many people that will be forever changed. My baby sister to have known her was to know what loyalty is to know what a true friend is to know how it feels to be accepted. She was a young mother of 2 beatiful girls that will have to grow up without her due to a careless driver that unfortunately was not charger. She was a single mother making a better life for her babies. With starting construction and getting her music career going. God had a different plan and now she is gone. Being a young single mother starting her career she didnt have life insurance. It was something she talk about getting once she started construction and she didnt get a chance. So if you are able please help us give our sister a home going service. Any amount would help nothings to small. We thank you in advance for helping.
Like my sister Lashawnda aka "Nola Skii two I's not a Y like share subcribe". And God bless you all...
