What happened?

On 7/28/18 the Speer’s were returning from a family trip to Idaho when they were in a serious car accident. All were injured to some extent, tragically their sweet, 12 year old son Alex did not survive the accident. 

How are they doing?

The family is still under ongoing treatment from medical professionals with several broken bones and other injuries. Multiple surgeries and health challenges are expected. They are understandably heartbroken at the news of their son and brother passing. They are feeling comfort that Alex is with loved ones and at peace. 

What can we do?

We are rallying around them as a community and this page is setup to help them directly in the following ways:

Support with expenses for the funeral of Alex. 

Help with the recovery of all family members. 

Show them they are loved and appreciated for all they do and have done for us and our families. 

Alleviate some of the mental stress associated with taking time off work for needed healing and recovery.
