I have upped the goal at the request of some that are still wanting to donate but have to wait tell funding comes in. We made our first goal! Thank you so much all! Turbo is going to have such an amazing and wonderful life.! All The Turbster's money will sit here until he needs it. All of his initial appoitments are paid for so we don't even need to use this money. God is good!
We have met our original goal but all donations are still welcome! This baby is going to need lifelong care! I still have people wanting to donate so I upped his goal. Thank you all! UPDATEEEEEE!!! I am going to finally sleep for the first time in a week and a half. Turbo will be saved, it worked. The love, the donations, the outpouring of support it all worked. They were watching and they saw. Turbo will not be put to sleep. Turbo will LIVE and he will LIVE well! I get to make his appointment for Tuesday and I GET TO BE THERE!!!!!! I will begin my journey to our boy Monday, driving, prayers for safe travels are welcome! I am hoping to arrange where I can do a LIVE FEED on Facebook for everyone to see. UPDATE AS OF: 7/14/2016 We have 6 days to make this happen. They have extended till the 20th. There isn't much more to say. Turbo needs us. This is the home stretch. Please help me get this money together, please help me bring Turbo home so I can give him the home and love that he deserves. Please help me save his life!!!! I posted a video of Turbo on his Facebook, Turbo The Husky and will post it here as soon as I get it uploaded to my computer. Until then please just keep sharing and get this out there. We just need the right person to grab this and take it. Turbo deserves a shot at life! (There is a surgeon in place and ready to take on his case and make him well. Everything is coming together. They are working closely with the vet that has been taking care of Turbo and have worked together before. It's a wonderful office.)

AMAZING UPDATE ALERT AS OF: 7/9/2016 If you can't donate please share! Turbo deserves a chance! The officer in charge just contacted me, and you all need to know she is the most amazing and wonderful human being I have dealt with. I truly believe a higher power is taking over with this beautiful animal, he is loved. The Officer agrees Turbo deserves to live and deserves a chance, so she reached out to the higher ups and they all came together and made a decision to allow Turbo to fight, they love him too, under one condition, we raise the funds to help make that happen. Turbo needs to see Ortho and he needs to have surgery to fix his problems and get him out of pain! Part of the agreement as well is that the Officer is going to be taking Turbo to Ortho herself to ensure that it's done, which is simply amazing on it's own. This isn't going to be cheap! There was no amount set in stone but it's going to cost and I need to prove it can be paid for! My heart was just overjoyed that he is being given a chance! I am going to do all I can and start making calls to try and find a surgeon that can properly diagnose him and do surgery to make his quality of life managable and make this precious boy live painfree, happy, and help him be adoptable, in the mean time this fund raiser needs to bust wide open! In simple terms, Turbo's back was broken (see below). Turbo's pelvis is fused to his spine on both sides, his back legs are extended always and this is very painful to him, muscles and tendons are completely fused. Turbo can not control anything on his lower half so his bladder and bowels are an issue as well and he does have a hernia on his rear end from dragging to clean himself off. Please if you can't donate share. Let's give this dog a chance to heal and be pain free so he can start living the life he deserves and know humans aren't bad and capable of LOVE.! Share Share Share. On July 6, 2016 there was a post made in a group I am in on Facebook about this sweet baby with Spina Bifida. Turbo's owners weren't able to keep him nor give him the life that he deserved so they found a new owner for him. The new owner wasn't able to keep Turbo so she surrendered Turbo to the Humane Society, (or so the story goes). I fell in love as soon as I saw his little picture and decided that I wanted to do whatever I could to help him, this included adopt him and love him forever. Upon further pushing and fighting to even find out about him I found out that Turbo was not surrendered but found on the side of the road wrapped in a blanket and had suffered some previous injuries that are at least a couple months old and they are questioning whether he in fact even had Spina Bifida at all, either way he can not use his rear legs and does not have control of his lower half what so ever which left him to constantly drag himself around, which also caused some damage. I don't know what all I am legally allowed to say and not to say so I will leave it at that. Turbo needs help and is fighting for his life. The last word I got was that Turbo was in a lot of pain and they weren't sure if he was going to make it. They are doing everything they can but we can do better! I would love to raise some money for his care and have the community rally around this little guy so he has the fighting chance that he deserves! All proceeds will go straight to his care, in the event that Turbo does not make it all his money will be donated to the Humane Society in his memory. I have faith he's going to win his fight! When he does he's going to need all the help he gets. Turbo never had "wheels" and he's going to need constant care! Let's show this little guy what being loved really is! Even a dollar helps!
