“When you educate a girl, you educate a whole community!”

In February 2017, The ForUsGirls Foundation Founder & President,  Aminka Belvitt returned to her home country of Jamaica on a speaking tour across St. James & Trelawny Jamaica empowering and inspiring over 800 girls!

She talked with the girls about believing in themselves, setting personal boundaries, developing leadership skills, caring for one another and becoming community and global leaders.

After her talks she spent the day playing in and outside of the classrooms with both girls and boys. She witnessed the dire need of school & arts supplies and books that each school has. Upon completing her tour she committed to sponsoring each school through the ForUsGirls Foundation.

This is an ambitious goal but obtainable one classroom at a time. Our fundraising efforts for the ForUsGirls Foundation Jamaica is on-going and continuous. We are asking for the support of the wider global community to support our mission and mandate to provide humanitarian assistance to our sponsored schools.

Funds will provide sanitary & hygiene items, books, notebooks, pencils, leisure toys and financial assistance for parents who cannot afford school fees for their children.

We have partnered and work with 3 teachers at Irwin Primary, Somerton All Ages & Infant school and Goodwill Primary in the distribution of supplies and funds for each school.

Support our cause of girls empowerment and girls education in Jamaica.

For only $25 you can cover one girls school fees for the entire school year.
