My name is Chandice Rogers daughter of Katrina and Tim Tubbs of Hastings Nebraska. In October I applied for the Rotary Foreign Exchange Program mainly driven by my desire to experience a new culture and to engage in new challenges that will further educate and prepare me for life. The Rotary Foreign Exchange Program is an international service organization whose purpose is to provide for others, encourage ethical standards, and to advance good will and peace around the world.
On November 18th I was accepted by the program, and I am happy to announce that as a result, I will have the opportunity to spend a year in a foreign country learning as much as I can while experiencing a new culture.
Where this is an amazing opportunity, it is not without financial cost. I have compiled a list of people, including yourself, that I believe may invest in me, and support me financially. Where my family is able to meet some of the associated costs, they are unable to meet the full amount of $5,000. Your support of any amount would be greatly appreciated and I would be extremely grateful.
