Frank to be euthanized - medical and space issues

Donation protected
Frank is a sweet skinny dog who came into ACCT Philly as a stray. He has an injured eye and uncontrollable diarrhea. The shelter said he is expected to be time stamped for euthanasia very soon due to medical issues and space issues. He is sweet as pie. Whatever Rescue who tags him will have medical bills to pay. This fundraiser is an incentive for whatever Rescue that pulls him. Here are his notes from the shelter directly:Frank #ACCT-A-139523 is a 4-year-old male that came in as a stray on 6/02. Frank has very likely been malnourished and neglected. He also has an eye injury that was never cared for at some point in his past. He has a ravenous appetite and a little skittish. However, he ultimately tolerated all handling. Frank is emaciated. He has a heart murmur, and his eye has damage and scarring likely from previous trauma. He is at risk for refeeding syndrome, and he needs close monitoring and individualized care that we cannot provide at the shelter. If Frank gets foster placement he will need to get bloodwork before going home. On 6/02 staff noted: Underweight, possibly blind in his right eye. He is very nervous sometimes but shows friendly behavior. Hair loss and pressure points near hind area. Frank is bright, alert, and responsive. Showed interest in food. On 6/03 staff noted: Frank has a poor body condition. His eyes have phthisis bulbi OD. It is shrunken with expansive corneal scarring but no active ocular pain or inflammation. His ears crusty pinnal margins AU, no evidence of active otitis. Franks mouth is noted to be MM paler pink and has mild calculus. His skin has callus formation at ischial tuberosities, patchy alopecia on neck (suspected scar tissue). His heart is at a grade II-III murmur, HR = 132, reg. His lungs are okay and within normal limits. His abdomen is soft but non-painful. He has a very thin body condition with a ravenous appetite. Frank is skittish but ultimately tolerated all handling. Videos: Frank knows sit: are trying our best to save Frank but if he is euthanized the donations will be given to ACCT’s Yoda Fund for dogs in a similar position as Frank.
