FAE's (Friends of the Asian Elephant Hospital - Lampang, Thailand) Fundraiser for a new medical device

In the continual effort to care for injured elephants at FAE, I have organized this drive to raise $7000 for a new medical device designed to enhance the daily care program for all elephants residing at the Friends of Asian Elephant Hospital located in Lampang, Thailand.

FAE was founded in 1998 as the first elephant hospital in the world.  Its founder, a native Thai woman, Soraida Salwala, to this day is constantly seeking the best availalble tool, particularly for those which suffered amputation after stepping on land mines in their native forests during the years of 2002 - 2014.  In celebration of its 25th anniversary as a non-profit sanctuary, FAE gained worldwide attention in 2010 when the first prothesis was fit to an elephant.  To now include this medical device, brand name Bemer, will indisputably ensure the optimum health of all its residents as a welcome asset.

The Bemer increases the blood flow in the capillaries within the microculation of all living creatures.   Bemer currently is regarded as one of the most effective and affordable medical devices of its kind, used by over 1,000,000 users in 4,000+ clinics and hospitals across Europe, Asia, and Africa.

Since its discovery in 1998, Bemer attributes its success to the following:

Provides recovery and rejuvenation;
Helps build muscle;
Reduces stress;
Accelerates recovery after injury;
Strengthens the immune system;
Induces greater hydration integrating better oxygen and nutrients to the cells and removal of toxins and waste at the cellular level;
Easy operation and portable;
Cost: $5,999 plus tax

I personally became involved with FAE in 2010 when I met a filmmaker finishing up a documentary on the fitting of the first prothesis to an elephant. (See "Eyes of Thailand")  I was immediately intrigued and offered my services as a certified Tellington TTouch practitioner ("TTouch") to teach the medical staff at the facility.  I travel yearly and am gratified with the results of this method.  However, I also realize that a day-to-day, consistent Bemer sessions beyond antibiotics and supplements would best serve the growing needs of this community in preserving maximum health for all.
