On Sunday, March 30th, Bo Adams, son of Kip and Amy Adams, suffered a life-threatening head injury after being kicked in the head by their horse.

Bo was life-flighted to Rochester, NY where he underwent emergency surgery to install a metal plate.  Following several difficult and uncertain days, Bo's prognosis is good, though the battle ahead will be long.

The injury crushed the bones in his left ear which likely will result in permanent hearing damage.  It also impacted the portion of the brain which controls speech, so prolonged therapy is likely.  Finally, the nerves which control movements on the left side of his face also were damaged, so this will be another focus moving forward.

Of course, the best news is that Bo is alive, appears to have no permanent brain damage and will be moved from the intensive care unit to a normal room in the not too distant future.

The battle ahead will be challenging for Bo and the entire Adams family.  Please give generously so that financial concerns do not add stress to their already difficult situation.
