UPDATE:  Kevin passed peacefully surrounded by his loving family and friends. I really want to thank everyone for the outpouring of love and support. Every penny will go to Kevin's wife, Sondra to be used for funeral expenses, hospital bills and for caring for their 2 young children.  Please continue to share.  

My name is Jessica. Kevin Garcia is my husband's best friend. As some of you may know, Kevin  suffered a massive stroke May 1st and is in critical care at DMC. The doctors described his brain injury as "catastrophic." He has a great team of doctors and nurses helping him the best they can. We are hoping for a miracle... after all, this is Kevin. We all know how determined he is to do anything that he puts his mind to.
Kevin would do anything to help his friends. ANYTHING. Many of us know first hand the kindness and generosity that Kevin offers without hesitation. He truly is a gold hearted human and we are all completely gutted that something like this could happen to such a good person.
Right now so much is out of our hands, but one thing we can do is help to lessen the burden on Kevin's family. Anything helps. Thank you.
