Friends of Meli

This medical fund campaign, by Friends of Meli, was started to help raise the funds necessary for a life-saving insulin pump, that will cost over $15,000. Some of this cost has already been paid, but we would like to help her as much as we can.  Our Melina has fought diabetes all her life. Over the years, most treatments have become futile, grown outdated and are no longer effective. And now, the last insulin pump has become nearly useless. With limited insurance, her struggle is not only physical, but financial, as well.

Our friend is an artist, a comedian, and now, a valiant fighter. But most of all, Meli is laughter. She is much loved by her friends and family and lights up a room with her beauty and quick wit. She is so talented and gifted in making a person feel loved, needed and wanted. Few people possess these qualities. The world is a better place because of her and we love her so very much. We welcome any amount donated, with open arms, to provide Meli with this life-saving insulin pump. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
