Boy Scout Fuller Pool Gaga-Ball Pit
Donation protected
Hello Donors,
I am a Boy Scout who is working on fundraising for my Eagle Scout Project. I am building a Gaga-Ball Pit for Fuller Pool in Ann Arbor, Michigan. I am raising money through bottle drives and this Go Fund Me. This project will cost about $2,700.
The composite lumber costs about $2,200.
The bracket system (which holds the composite lumber in place) is $500.
The reason it is so expensive is I am using composite lumber to build the Gaga-Ball pit. The composite lumber I am going to use has a 50 year warranty against splintering, and warping.
The Gaga-Ball pit is going to be commercial and playground quality. It will benefit many day camps and the pool, which is run by Ann Arbor City Parks.
Fuller Pool wants to add more amenities to it so there are more recreational activities for kids and their summer-long day camps. The Gaga-Ball pit will be the first new amenity added!
I hope you donate!
Thanks you for your support,
Steven
Below is a video explaining how Gaga-Ball is played. Near the end of the video it talks about the different types of Gaga-Ball pits, I will be making the largest one using composite lumber. This is why the project is expensive.
