Imperial Enterprises is the first ever non-profit organization aiming for the ability to hire artists and writers to produce new forms of entertainment. Our first objective is comics!
This industry is known for lots of hard work at low pay, but we are going to change that.
We aim to publish three new monthly comic book titles. For this we need to hire at least three artist, and three writers.
Here is the breakdown of our main expenses:
Our desired goal is to provide all artists, and writers with annual salaries, which will include paid time off, sick days, and the optional health care plan. The salaries will be based off working on 12 monthly issues. Since writers can work on multiple titles at once, artists will have a higher base pay since they can only work on one title at a time.
Based on one title per year, artists can earn an average salary of $30,000.
Based on one title per year, writers can earn an average salary of $15,000.
With the salaries of three artists, three writers, and the annual operational expenses, our desired goal is estimated to total $145,000.
