Fundraising efforts for Natalie & Dakota Sherman

Shortly before Christmas, during a time when most families were gathered together to celebrate the holiday season, Dan, Natalie and Dakota received the worst news possible. Dan had been admitted for stomach issues and after several tests and a couple of hospitals later he was given the horrific diagnosis of peritoneal carcinomatosis. A very aggressive form of cancer with no treatment options available.  In the short time since then his health has began to fail rapidly and he has been hospitalized indefinitely.



Like many others, Natalie is too humble to suggest the idea on her own, but this little family is in dire need of financial assistance. Dan was the only source of income while Natalie struggled with her own health issues associated with lyme disease. Due to her illness and Dakota's highly sensitive food intolerances she has been a stay-at-home mom and homeschools 8 year old Dakota.

At this time Natalie is torn between spending time with Dan and also ensuring Dakota lives as close to a normal life as possible. Between daily trips to the Red Deer Hospital to care for and visit Dan as well as parent and ensure that Dakota stays on top of his school work the expenses are adding up with no income coming in.

Natalie is not only faced with the devastation of losing her son's father but the possibility of losing their family home and all that they've built together as a family.

This GoFundMe page has been created in hopes of reducing some of the stress that is consuming Natalie and give her hope for their future moving forward.  In this time of great uncertainty even the smallest donation will make the world of difference for this family.
