Funds for the Bookstore

Hi everyone! As many of you know, Alex and I are opening an independent bookstore in our neighborhood, East Passyunk. We're hoping to open by January 2019. We are going to sell both new and used books, as well as host a variety of community-minded events. We just got the keys to the space today and are beyond excited. However, starting a business isn't cheap! We have raised about a quarter of the funds we'll need for rent, construction, new books, and other merchandise. Just to open in a few months! We're asking our friends and family to contribute any kind of monetary donation they can afford/wish to (we are planning a special commemoration in the bookstore to thank all our contributors!) Also, we are taking used books as well, so if you have some in good condition and want to get rid of them, please pass them along. Thank you so much.
