Funds to help Crivohija Family

I, Alexandra Kosovan, started this fundraising page on behalf of our relatives, Crivohija family. Crivohija family is going through a very tough time in their life. Ivan Crivohija is currently hospitalized in critical condition.  Ivan is 62 years old and worked as a truck driver for past 13 years.

On March 2, he was making his regular trip and went to take a shower at a track stop in Indianapolis,  where he had hemorrhagic stroke. He felt and hit his head hard enough to cause brain trauma and worsen bleeding in the brain. Also, he broke his arm. He was not discovered for almost 14 hours. At this  moment he is in the Neuro ICU in Indianapolis. For 3 days he was in induced coma and mechanically ventilated. As of today, he is responding to his wife and daughter. He is recognizing them and is aware that he is in the hospital. His right side is paralyzed and his speech is severely affected. He cannot be transported to Sacramento. Unfortunately, Ivan does not have any insurance, so now all the financial burden will fall on the shoulders of his family. His wife Evghenia was working part time, but now she is staying with her husband in the hospital and lost her job.

We would like to asked for prayer support for this family, we pray for fast recovery and God’s miracle to restore Ivan’s health.  At this hard time any financial help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!


К нашему большому сожалению, в семье Кривохижа настали тяжелые времена, Иван Кривохижа, которому 62 года,  сейчас находится в тяжелом состоянии в больнице.

2 марта Иван как обычно ехал по своему маршруту, он трак дривер. В Индианаполисе он заехал на трак стоп принять душ. В душе у него случился инсульт, он потерял сознание и сильно ударил голову, сломал руку. Он пролежал в душе около 14 часов пока его нашли. Три дня он был под аппаратом искусственного вентилирования легких и был в коме. В левой части мозга у него большая гематома, вся правая часть тела парализована и сильно пострадала речь. Его жена Евгения находится постоянно возле него в больнице. Перевозить в Сакраменто его еще нельзя.

Иван был основным источником дохода, его жена Евгения работала (part-time) но сейчас из-за того что она всегда с ним в больнице в другом штате, работу она потеряла. К сожалению у Ивана не было никакой страховки, и поэтому вся тяжба счетов за дом и за госпитализацию ляжет на его его семью.
