Support for funeral expenses

To everyone who has sent prayers, love, calls, or texts, we hear you. We hear all of you. The outpour of support we have received from friends, families, and those we have never met has been so amazingly overwhelming. At a time in our world where we hear about so much hate, it has been made apparent that there is way more love, more love than we ever imagined and we feel it. Our son/brother is and was the most selfless, loving, spunky, and brilliant man. He saved the life of not only his friend but of so many others, we truly believe that. We will never understand why, but God had a divine plan for Andrew and his future. His name and legacy will go on through us and all of you!

 

We want to thank each and every one of you incredible individuals for your generous donations in this very difficult time. We would like to share with you our plans so that you all know that we could not do this alone and because of all of you we will help so many others. Andrew Pasek will have the most incredible send off. We will keep everyone updated on whereabouts of the Memorial as we have had a long separation from our son/brother due to this horrific natural disaster and we hope to see so many of your beautiful faces there. Our next mission is to use all other donations and money raised not used for his memorial service and funeral to start the Andrew J. Pasek foundation; which will support an Eagle Scout scholarship program to fund college costs, among other things. A little bit about Andrew, he was 25 years old, he was an Eagle Scout, he was elected into the Order of the Arrow which is a prestigious peer awarded honor, he was pursuing a career in automotive technology and was a car enthusiast, animal lover and rescuer (all pets we have are Andrew rescues), advice giver and best friend to so many. So we are going to take a little bit of all the things he loved and we are going to make a difference. That is our promise!
