Cari kirkness and kids

We are hoping to raise $200’000 for the future expenses of Cari's Kirkness and her two sons; Chaz (11) and Andrew (2). Early February Leslie's sister Cari Kirkness(Cari's Facebook page) was diagnosed with strep throat... which later escalated violently, she was in the Health Science Centre in the Intensive Surgical Care Unit in an induced medical coma, Cari has had two unfortunate amputations to remove her legs and one of her arms, doctors feared that she has flesh eating disease that it would spread to her internal organs so they decided an amputation was their best attempt at saving Cari's life. Cari is a soldier and fighting back every minute in rehabilitation! The Kirkness family has not left Cari’s side since she was admitted into the Health Science Centre on Thursday February 9th.
Cari will require a wheelchair accessible Van and a one-story home that is wheel also chair accessible. The Kirkness family is hoping to purchase an accessible house in Fort Richmond to avoid further disturbances in the lives of Cari's children and the Family's foster children. We are currently hoping to raise $100'000 for the down payment of the house [$500'000 budget] and an additional $100'00 for a down payment on the Van and renovations that may be required to make the home not only accessible but also comfortable for Cari, she has been an absolute soldier through her battle.
Cari is constantly cheering up everyone around her myself included, she has handled this tragedy with humor and grace. I am proud to say Cari has not lost her spark, the hospital staff absolutely adore her probably because she is the type of person who is still doing her best to remember all their names and thank every person who has helped her in anyway.
If you know the Kirkness family, i dont have to tell you how amazing they are as humans, and how close they are as a family. Ashley and Towela ask us to band together in solidarity and show the kirkness family that they are not alone and that they are loved. One thing most of us have in common is that we moved to Winnipeg from somewhere else and met friends who became family. If this is the last thing you ever do for us, please donate, this amazing family could really use some love and support while navigating this emotional trauma. If you have any questions at all please do not hesitate to contact Ashley or Towela on our cell-phones, emails, or social media accounts. Fundraisers will be organized throughout the following months. Details will follow but feel free to contact myself or anyone related to the Kirkness family for details!
My Name is Towela Mkanda and I am a student at the University of Manitoba, this campain was created by Ashley Cauvin and myself, thank you so much for all your donations and for sharing with your friends and family! None of this would be possible without our assistance!!
Thank you in advance, have a blessed day!
