The Szewczyk Family

I'm reaching out to everyone because my aunt and uncle have recently experienced back to back tragedies and are in need of a little help. On October 20th, their house flooded from water from an upstairs bathroom. The water damaged the entire upstairs floor and parts of the downstairs, all of which will require thousands of dollars in repairs. The very next day, Andy, Marian, Lillia, and Lillia's friend Molly were coming back from cheerleading practice when they were involved in a violent car accident. Driving down route 3 during heavy rainfall, Andy and the others spun out after going through a puddle on the road. They all got out of the car unharmed but before they could get to safety they were all hit by a truck. Lillia sustained extensive bruising all over her body with a possible knee injury; she is in a boot but in good spirits. Andy's father Marian, who is here visiting from Poland, broke his hip and was released today from the hospital after two long weeks of recovery. He is okay for now but he now requires a hip replacement, which insurance will not cover. Andy got the worst of the hit. He is currently on life support after a skull fracture, five broken ribs, and massive internal injuries which required surgery on his heart. It is a miracle that he is still with us but he has a long road ahead of him. Because of all this, Lisa now has to stay home with Marian and cannot work. While their insurance will cover a large portion of the bills, they will still have massive amounts of debt and they will likely spend years trying to catch up. Lisa, Andy, and their beautiful kids are the most wonderful people I've ever met and they need our help! Every little amount helps!
