Student Scholarship Fund
Tax deductible
The Alaska World Affairs Council Student Scholarship Fund supports two current students at the University of Alaska with annually renewing scholarships of $2,500 each.
The Scholarship Fund was started in 2017 to support Alaskan high school seniors who choose to remain in Alaska to pursue their higher education goals. The scholarship is structured to provide meaningful support throughout their undergraduate education, up to 4 years total.
The Alaska World Affairs Council is an educational not-for-profit organization offering meaningful and interactive opportunities for Alaskans to engage the world. We strive to provide our community with a wide spectrum of perspectives, remaining nonpartisan in the conviction that better access to education in international affairs is necessary for sound democratic citizenship in our local, national and global community.
