Help Us Say Goodbye to Max.

On Friday night, Max started bleeding profusely from his nose. By the time he got to the vet he couldn’t walk and had to be carried in on a stretcher.
The vet bills are already over $1,000 and he still needs more tests and is staying overnight at the vet. We only want to do enough to make sure he isn’t in pain, but the prognosis isn’t good.
My mom is a gun violence survivor with PTSD and this dog is her whole heart. With the likelihood that Max won’t make it long after this, I can’t bear her also worrying about how to pay this bill because we don’t have a lot of resources.
