Drive Daisy Morrison's Family Forward
Donation protected
A family full of dreams for the future has been met with untimely tragedy and challenges. Recently, Chicago Police Officer Christopher Morrison passed away a few days after succumbing to injuries sustained in an auto accident. The beloved officer, husband, father and friend worked to serve and protect his community while also working to support himself, his wife Daisy, their 7-year-old daughter, and their 3-year-old son. His sudden passing has left Daisy to raise their children on her own, and their educational and financial future uncertain.
Christopher and Daisy, both US Marine veterans, believed in the importance of higher education. While Christopher worked, he supported Daisy’s full-time pursuit of a degree in the medical field, he paid for their daughter’s elementary education in a Chicago area private school, in addition to paying the mortgage and the family’s other living expenses.
The money raised here will go to support Daisy and her children so that Daisy can continue pursuing her medical degree on a full-time basis, her daughter can continue her elementary education, and to gather funds to pay for her young son’s imminent elementary education. The money will also help Daisy pay for their living needs, such as food, mortgage payments, child daycare, clothing, transportation, medical expenses, etc. Essentially, your contributions will be helping drive the Morrison family toward a more certain, stable future.
My name is Juan Velasco, Daisy's brother. All funds will be withdraw and used by Daisy. Thank you for your generosity and kind thoughts.
