"I have no interest in revenge anymore, but instead to work towards forgiveness, but most of all, peace. Thank you for today, it has truly, truly changed my way of thinking." - Mira, student participant
At The Gandhi Experiment, our vision is world peace through education. We are committed to getting to the root causes of violence, hatred, fear and marginalisation. The success of our programs means no more band aid solutions - we are teaching teenagers how to create a more peaceful world.
Your donation will specifically fund the Global Participation - it starts with us! school conferences. You will be contributing to:
❤ teaching non-violence as a choice
❤ modeling how to be a global citizen
❤ teaching conflict resolution and positivity to teens
❤ building relationships with people and the planet
❤ helping teens step up and begin their own journey to a more positive future
Outcomes address:
✿ bullying and violence
✿ domestic violence
✿ social injustice
✿ corruption
✿ moving from apathy to action
✿ the move to more mindful action and a positive world
The $10,000 goal will initially provide for 20 schools across Melbourne and regional Victoria, Australia, India and Indonesia - this year, 2016.
The Global Participation - it starts with us! school conferences have been piloted in Melbourne, Australia, India and Pakistan. The responses from students has been extraordinary. Now we require funds to allow the program to grow and flourish.
The more we raise, the more schools benefit.
The more schools that benefit, the more our global community benefits.
