BigGalYoga's Yoga Teacher Training!

My name is Valerie but I'm mostly known as Big Gal Yoga. For the past 3 years I've posted my yoga practice online, first starting on Tumblr, and then moving onto Instagram. Through my visual yoga practice I have inspired many people like myself the fat, curvy, chubby, plus size, large, women of color, and others not like myself of smaller bodies to practice yoga. Through my own yoga practice I've come to love my body, and accept it as it is now. My practice has also given me the strength to get over the mental hurdle of my own self doubt when it comes to enjoying the fun and beautiful things in life. My practice is my own but I want to be able to help and inspire others as a teacher. To help encourage the people who never thought they could try yoga because they believed they had to look a certain way in society's view. I've finally chosen a yoga studio to start my teacher training at the 7 Centers Yoga Arts in Sedona, Arizona. My GoFundMe is to help raise money for my tution to study there, as well as housing. Any little bit will help me out, so I can help bring yoga to you!

As well I want to take Amber Karnes and Diane Bondy's Yoga For All Training course online. Learning from experienced body positive yoga teachers will be a great add to my knowledge of teacher training.
