DAPSS Firetruck for Public Safety 3
Donation protected
We are Juniors at the Delaware Academy of Public Safety and Security, a high school located in New Castle, Delaware. Our school is geared toward the Public Safety field. Each year we learn about a different field. We are currently taking Public Safety 3, where we learn all about the jobs of a firefighter, and how to become one. We have a police car for our Public Safety 2 (Law Enforcement) class and an ambulance for our Public Safety 4 (EMT/EMR) class. All we are missing now is a fire engine to complete the fleet. We are trying to raise money for a fire engine, so that future classes can be better instructed. We want this engine to be our legacy for future cadets. This fire engine will help our future classes get a hands-on learning experience. We will be able to learn everything from where certain tools go, to how to properly clean the engine. The engine itself is $5,000, which we are hoping to raise by June 2016. Any and all donations are greatly appreciated, and will be recognized with a plaque on the engine with how much was donated.
