Soccer Equipment Recovery

Bad news for Cottage Grove kids. We discovered the first week of January that our  trailer with all of our soccer equipment had been stolen from behind Cottage Grove High School. Everything is gone: goals, balls, ball bags, cones, our wheels to move the big goals, our field marking paint machine, paint, field flags, whistles, stop watches, first aid kits, field boxes that held everything for the games and even the tape gun. Despite our best efforts to secure the equipment, over $7000 worth of  equipment is missing.  While we are insured for some things our coverage will not make up for what we have lost.  Even though soccer doesn't start for another couple of months, we have a long road ahead of us to make sure the kids of our community won't miss out on spring soccer season.

We need your help. Our fundraising goal has been focused on field improvements, which are greatly needed as well, but now the need for soccer equipment is our number one priority. We need a community effort to sustain our community recreation program.  Community support has kept South Valley Athletics going for nearly 50 years. That history of service has never been in greater jeopardy.
