Get Samantha a new leg

Samantha was born with Fibular Hemimeila and 10 days after her first birthday she had a symes amputation to her right foot/leg.  Samantha now wears a prosthetic leg that she outgrows every 5-6 months as she is a growing girl.  She is currently on leg number 7 and while we have been fortunate to have insurance that covers the cost of her legs, we have found that Samantha is having issues with the Gel Liners that are available to her.  This causes her pain and irritation and makes it so she will not wear her leg.  We have found a company in Florida that manufactures their own liners that will eliminate this problem for Samantha, after talking with our insurance company and the Prosthetic company we have found that they are not within our network and the out of pocket expenses will be very high, along with the expenses to travel to Florida for them to custom make her a liner and leg to go along with it.

 

While we have never asked for help in funds for Sam and her legs, the daily issues we face have gotten worse and she is in need of this change more than ever.  By donating you will be helping to make Samantha’s quality of life better and allow her to be a child.

 

Samantha will be due to have another leg made in the next couple of months and any help you can be to help make this happen will be a true blessing.
