Help Sol get to SXSW

 Peace everyone, 

My name is Sol, I am a Kenyan native residing in the DMV and currently pursuing my passion for music! I have more recently started creating, recording and performing my original music. I released my first studio record "Pretty Leaf " a little over 6 months ago and the reception for it was greater than I could ever imagine. It's because of the support you all have shown me that be came motivated to  follow my dreams more intently. I am currently working on my first EP "Release"and am weeks away from launching my Youtube Channel SolLikeSoul! 

I made this campaign because I was blessed enough to  be asked to be a part of an SXSW two night showcase on March 16th and 17th! I am super excited to be a part of this event and grateful that people outside of my city believe in my music and my vision! The 400 dollars that I'm raising will cover my flight to Austin, Texas and a part of  my housing fees.  I am also working as much as I can to save up for this trip and cover any other necessities I will need. This will be my first time performing out of state and I couldnt have chosen a better platform to be my first.
