Libby's Dance Tour In Japan!
Donation protected
Libby is a 14 year old, a full time dance student and has always been very passionate about dancing, in particular ballet since the age of 3, aspiring to dance professionally one day soon.
Libby has recently been offered a wonderful opportunity at short notice, along with her fellow dance students to take a once in a life time trip to Japan, in late February for 11 days. During this trip, Libby will personally meet both the director of the Royal Ballet in London, Laura Morera and the first soloist of the Royal Ballet London, Ricardo Cervera. Here she will have the opportunity with her group to partake in exclusive dance classes with them. Libby will have world class training and exposure to some of the best current and past ballet performers and teachers. This will enable her to gain priceless knowlege and training and take a big step forward in her dream to become a professional Ballet dancer.
She will also have a unique opportunity to observe the audition and scout process of what it takes to be chosen for an elite company.
Whilst she is in Japan The money will be used for flights, accommodation, food and tuition. The full payment will be needed by the first of February.
Libby says, "This is an amazing opportunity for me, and for all my peers. Japan is an extraordinary country and this would be a really great experience for me, as a hopeful ballet dancer. My number one dream is to be a professional ballerina. This trip will not only give me an amazing insight into my potential future, but also help provide me with so many tools and skills, as we will also have the opportunity to observe the audition process that is required to get into ballet companies around the world ".
Libby and our whole family would be extremely appreciative for any donation big or small to make Libby's dream a reality.
Ballet dancers put many hours of blood, sweat and tears and dedication into their profession, and the opportunity to dance at a professional level is only available to a select few. This experience would be a lifelong memory for Libby and will help her get a step closer to her dream.
