Gillis Family

Our dear friends' beautiful 14-year-old daughter Carissa was diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma last April.  She has fought a great battle since then and God has blessed them with time together. However, hospice was recently called in to support Carissa and keep her as comfortable as possible. As we all know time is precious and we just don't know how much longer this family will have left with her. 

At this point, they have exhausted most of their paid time off and have gone through their savings traveling back and forth from North Carolina to Louisiana. The bills are starting to mount and there is little money for travel expenses. This journey our friends have been on is one that no parent should have to go through, but the financial burden they are facing now makes this heartbreaking situation even more difficult.

We are reaching out to our friends and family, as well as Dawn and Robbie's friends and family, asking for any help you may be able to offer. We appreciate anything you can do to help. God bless you all and this wonderful family.
