Girls Inc. of Omaha to Yellowstone!

Each summer, Girls Inc. of Omaha takes a group of rock star teens on an out of state adventure. At Girls Inc. we believe that these travel experiences are critical for our girls to learn, grow and explore outside of their comfort zone. This year we are excited to announce that our teens will be embarking on a journey to discover the Badlands of South Dakota, see Mount Rushmore, float down the Snake River in Jackson Wyoming, and visit an American landmark, Yellowstone National Park.
Each member is expected to contribute $500 for the trip, so throughout the year they will be raising funds in a variety of ways to help cover the cost. Each girl selected for the teen trip has earned this special opportunity through hard work and exemplary behavior. We never want money to be a barrier for our girls to be able to take risks and immerse themselves in new experiences, therefore an annual Go Fund Me page is created.
We are trying to raise funds for 28 Girls Inc. members to join their peers on this adventure of a lifetime. These Girls Inc. members live our Strong, Smart, and Bold mission and strive daily to secure a successful future for themselves. Our members span diverse backgrounds attending both North and South Omaha Girls Inc. locations. Many of ours girls regularly make honor roll, participate in community based volunteer work, and have been Girls Inc. members for many years. They are beyond deserving of this opportunity and we need your help to make their traveling dreams a reality.
We are on a mission to raise $10,000.
