Girls Rock Camp Tally

Girls Rock Camp Tallahassee is a grassroots organization whose mission is to empower girls, women, trans, and gender non-conforming folks using the tools of music and arts education to foster community and build power. Girls Rock Camp Tallahassee values diversity of age, race, economic status, gender expression, size, physical ability, developmental ability, musical interests, learning styles, nationality, religion, thought, citizenship status, and sexual orientation. We promote respect and do not tolerate racism, sexism, homophobia, or other discriminatory behavior or expression. Girls Rock Camp Tallahassee exists to unite, develop, and support its member organizations.
During this week long camp campers will learn to play instruments and write a song with their fellow band mates to perform at the end of the week. Campers will also have the opportunity to attend multiple workshops that promote confidence building, creativity, recognition of social issues, and much more! 
We would really appreciate donations to help build our camp during our first year. Funds are necessary for equipment, background checks on volunteers, for camper merchandise, workshops, workshop materials, special events to promote camp, and membership fees and dues for GRCA.
