Saint Andrew Malankara Orthodox Church is a dynamic community rooted in the ancient Orthodox Christian faith while expressing it in an American cultural context. Our precious faith strengthens us to serve the greater community through service and witness.
Our community began with like-minded individuals and families who refused to give up on their faith. It became quite evident many have been jaded, hurt, disconnected from the Orthodox Church. It became the vision to establish a church that would be a haven for them, to reconnect to their faith, and grow with fellow Orthodox Christians in the image and likeness of God.
By the Grace of God, with the generous support of donors like you, through Saint Andrew's Fund, we have been able to support our local charity partners such as the North Shore Soup Kitchen, One Love Mission, Church World Services (CWS), and other worthy causes. This is one of the many ways we have been a healing presence on Long Island (and beyond) through witnessing our precious faith.
We are a community with a vision to Grow in Christ, Build in Christ, and Serve in Christ. On this Giving Tuesday, we ask for your prayers, and generous financial support, as we seek to strengthen the ministry of our parish, and our courageous witness right here on Long Island!
