Lonesome Cowboy Dave DeLuca

Hoping to raise funding to aid in completing several scripts, music projects and novels.
As we realize that this campaign goal is ambitious, we hope that any potential donors will understand that this funding will, with any luck, stretch over a period of three to five years. With our recent decision to reduce the final goal amount, the math works out to funding of $3,000.00 per year over the five year period. After five years, Dave aims to have completed some scripts, another novel and at least one "albums worth" of recorded original music. Dave's hopes are that at least one of these projects will generate some interest and possible opportunities to earn additional income within the arts community. By the way, his recently published book, Neighborworld, can be found on Amazon by clicking on (or copying and pasting) the following link into your favorite browser. I have a copy. It's a wild romp through Dave's futuristic existence as a character named Stan Mozuck. I have laughed out loud more than once as I've muddle through the pages of Dave's genius imagination.

And now a few words from Dave...
Hello, this is Dave. Tim is helping me raise money to find a place to live and have enough to buy food and continue projects. I've been a writer, musician and artist for over 40 years now and have been forced to work at a minimum wage job that won't pay my bills. I am worrying about losing my home. I have numerous writing, music and art credits. Currently I have a dystopian science fiction novel out published by the Church of the SubGenius called Neighborworld.
I want to be able to pay my bills including some student loans (yes, still paying those) while I develop movie scripts..
As far as my personal history goes, in the late 1980s I wrote segment set ups for a TV show called John Lennon Remembered. In the 1970s I was in a pub rock band in London and punk band in Cleveland. I was also one of the original cartoonists in the San Francisco version of the Monday Funnies. In the 1980s I was also in the band the Chronics, the Clocks and others. For five years I was a radio character in a radio comedy called Brainrot Radio Theatre. I wrote scripts and was later on the ESO radio show and then on the Church of the SubGenius radio show. In the late 90s and until about 2008 was in the band Einstein's Secret Orchestra. The reason I wanted to finish these screenplays is that they all have minority or female characters. They - without going into detail -are timely and original stories and very marketable.
I recently wrote a steampunk comedy novel with Wes Jenkins of Lego Island fame. I had congestive heart failure recently and I'm starting to bore myself, so ...
That about sums it up. I need money to live and pursue projects.
NeighborWorld is the story of a soon-to-be global network completely devoted to a vast internet and futuristic apps. The hero of the tale works for this global network. He discovers hundreds of people with psychic powers who are screwing up the system and there the fun begins.
Another projected screenplays is “Moonglow,” the story of a young girl in the 1940s who leaves home to join an all girl band. It’s based on my mother’s real life experiences as the bass player for Freddie Schaefer’s Victory. Sweet hearts.
The story includes the problems of a Japanese American singer who must pass himself off as Chinese American to avoid being interred.
Another screenplay under consideration is about the great Ashtabula train wreck, the worst transportation disaster in history before the sinking of the Titanic. The two main characters are a single female traveler (odd in the 1880s) and an the first African American telegraph operator.
