I am an amateur boxer with a goal of competing in the 2020 Olympic games. I don't just box to stay in shape or because I think it's fun to punch people in the face. I box bexause I LOVE it. Boxing is part of who I am, you could say it's in my blood! I've always wanted to qualify for the Olympics and with boxing, I finally feel like I can live out that dream.
However, to get to the top I have to compete in national tournaments....and win! I have to get exposure. Unfortunately I can't do that on my own. That's where you come in. July 4th through the 9th there is a Women's National Golden Gloves tournament in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Competing in this tournament would be huge for my progress toward my Olympic goal. I am reaching out to all those I call family, friends, and everyone in between, asking for your help to get me to Florida! I wanna show all those boxers down there that a Utah mom of three kids can kick some butt! I wanna bring home that belt!
