Often times bad things happen to good people. On the morning of November 15, 2016, a horrific thing happened to my aunt's wonderful family. My aunt, her 3 boys, and her late husband lived in a modest home in Stockton, California. They were never wealthy, but they are rich in their love for one another. This morning, their family (and mine) was torn apart by a devastating and horrific accident. While attempting to fix the home's water heater, Jaime, the father of 3 young boys and the adoring husband of my aunt, suffered 3rd degree burns to 100 percent of his body when the water heater exploded. His son, my young cousin, witnessed these events unfold and watched as his father was rushed to the hospital. Jaime passed away shortly afterwards, leaving behind his young family. Not only did my aunt and cousins lose their father, they also lost their childhood home and everything in it. My aunt is a strong and independent woman, but even she can't do this alone. In a world filled with darkness, I am hopefull that God's light will shine brightly on them, and the generosity of those who are reading this will help rebuild my family's life. Please, donate anything you can to help my aunt and her 3 boys rebuild their home, and move on with their lives.
