Gerardo Guzman Rebuilding Fund

Gerardo and Marie Guzman sustained catastrophic flood damage to their home and property when record breaking floods came through Oklahoma City on Wednesday, May 6, 2015.  Gerardo and his family do not have flood insurance.  Besides all the damage they sustained inside their home, they also lost five vehicles.  Also living in the home with Gerardo and his wife Maria, are their two daughters Anna and Alice, their son Jesus and two grandsons; Anthony and Giovanni. 

Gerardo (or you may know him by his nickname 'Gordo') is one of our most dedicated employees.  Gerardo started at the hotel back in 1992 and is one of our Banquet Captains.  We have started collecting monies from his coworkers; but several of our clients have asked to help.  That is why we have selected to start a gofundme account for Gerardo and his family. 

A local church out of Norman, OK is helping the Guzman family by clearing debris, tearing out wet sheetrock, lifting damaged tile, etc. and providing them with meals during this stressful time.  But the Guzman's are in need of monies to help rebuild their home i.e. furniture, clothing, appliances, etc.

Gerardo is known for his infectious smile here at the hotel.  Even with everything he and his family are going through right now; he continues to come to work with a smile on his face.
