Support Engineer Grace Rooney

Our friend, coworker, and sister locomotive engineer, Grace Rooney, has been quietly struggling with Multiple Sclerosis for some time. Sadly, her disease has progressed to the point that she is no longer able to perform her job as a locomotive engineer and will be medically disqualified by the LIRR in the next several days. Imagine working so hard to qualify as a locomotive engineer or conductor, only to have the job taken away from you through no fault of your own; It's devastating. To add insult to injury, she just found out the other day that her dog, LuLu, needed emergency surgery, costing several thousand dollars.



I'm asking everyone in this group to take a moment and
