Grant Nelson Memorial Fund

Dear Friends - UPDATE 

Thank you all who donated in Grant's honor. I am turning this over to his sister Alexandra Nelson who will distribute the funds per what she thinks Grant's wishes might have been. 

Thank you again so very much! 

Words cannot truly express the sadness of the situation as an amazing life was ruthlessly taken from Grant, his family, and everyone who knew him. 

Grant was a kind and beautiful soul. He always had a smile on his face and worked very hard, sometimes 3 jobs, as he was helping his family and just trying to simply make a living. He would never let you down.

Grant loved opera, piano, and singing; and was working on a voice training theory which assumes that anyone can gain the talent if tried hard enough, following a series of exercises. He almost got it.

I've known Grant for only a few years but he left a lasting impression not only on me but on everyone who knew him.

This fundraising will help Grant do what he always wanted, to leave this world as a better place than he found it. His Family will split the money and donate it in his name to www.anticruelty.org and www.namiccns.org

His passing further reaffirms that we don't know when our day will come. Just like Grant, be the best that you can be. Today.
