Family basement and stuff lost
Donation protected
On May 28, 2019 a horrible flood happened in Sheridan County, our home on Monte Vista Street was badly damaged. Our basement sump pump couldn’t keep up with the amount of water coming in. We carried some of our stuff from the basement, unfortunately we couldn’t get much as the water was filling too fast. I had forgotten my passport and when I went back to get it the water was above my belly button.
Alot of the items that were lost are irreplaceable, items like photos, books and family history, and book research.
Our clothes are all still down there and the water is still about 5 feet deep.
Currently our our home is unlivable and we are staying at a hotel, with our home still underwater we are asking for donations for hotel accommodations and food, as well as to help differ some of the cost of repairs that will need to be done to the home.
Anything helps.
