Hello, my name is Adrian Morales. This is my story about what really happened to the thousands of lives that were lost in Guatemala's Civil War. This War took place from 1960 to 1996. During the conflict, it is estimated that 200,000 civilians were killed or "disappeared" most at the hands of the military, police and intelligence services. My story talks about what really happened when one is accused of being a leftist guerrilla without proof, without due-process, and how I escaped with my life.
