Hey there,
Here's my update if you are interested, before I bring this fund to a close.
After 24 months, I am giddy with gratitude, happiness & relief to share that I have completed my 'epic' jawbone reconstruction work! With a brand spanking new balanced bite of 15 beautiful crowns installed in my newly integrated lower jawbone, I'm eating solids easily once more, have put 8 pounds back on and marvel at the wonder of being able to chew foods like a carrot, apple or taco chips! Believe me this is a miraculous thing! I certainly haev much to smile about.
I seem to like challenges though as unfortunately, just as things were winding up, I had a really bad fall on my left side (where all the work had happened) re- injuring an even older injury on my shoulder. Yes, thankfully I did not hurt my mouth! but I did tear my shoulder ligaments and arm & rotator cuff tear
that has led to a frozen shoulder. I'm sure you can empathize with my disbelief to learn I am faced with a year or more of rehab physio. But at least I have the discipline to take care of myself. It was most unexpected but I am moving ahead anyway to finish my third album to release it this summer. In spite of the discomfort I am so excited to be re- claiming my life once more thanks to your support. I have so appreciated the many kind and generous folks like you who kicked in to help. So once again from the depth of my heart I thank you for your time and caring.
Blessings and light to you and yours,
Christie Grace
