UPDATE: 12/10/18
Krystle has been battling away. Radiation therapy is complete along with chemo therapy. The results are not what we hoped for. The tumor has not shrunk in size. While it hasn't gotten larger it doesn't show signs of remission. So , it can not be radiated a second time but they have mounted a regime of double dosing of the chemo. This has proven to be very tough on Krystle. She is suffering from severe nausea and the medications don't seem to be easing it. But the chemo must go on. Krystle is mostly confined to her wheelchair as walking has become harder. Her left side has become paralyzed. Her insurance is through the Affordable Health Care (Obama Insurance) so her options for experimental drug treatment is limited. Your donations are desperately needed. Friends and family are doing all we can do but it takes a greater effort. It takes the effort of the masses. Please, give and share to help Krystle. Your money and efforts are going to a most worthy cause. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. -Jim & Tina
The Stewart family has recently received devastating news that Krystle, their oldest daughter, has been diagnosed with a grade 2-3 astrocytoma (a cancerous brain tumor). Within the last month, Krystle learned that she received her Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) license and was eager to pursue her passion. Now, due to this shocking diagnosis, her career plans are put on hold as she and her family brace themselves for radiation and chemotherapy treatments.
This GoFundMe page has been set up to assist Krystle and her family with medical costs they will endure. We know that donating is not always easy. If you are able to, by all means, please donate as donations are the most effective way to ease the financial burden on the Stewart family during this time. Along with donations, we ask that you pray for Krystle and her precious family and ask God to draw them near, calm their hearts, and cover them with His grace. To put it simply, the road ahead is difficult for Krystle and her family. With selfless giving on our part paired with Krystle's steadfast determination, we are hopeful that this will be beaten!
