Helping the warren family

If you haven’t met Kelly, you need to. Kelly is 47, married to Craig and has 5 awesome children. What's special about Kelly you may ask. Well she’s one of these people who no matter what puts people before herself. 12 weeks ago, Kelly was diagnosed with cervical cancer. You would think that would be enough for her to slow down and think about herself. No chance. Everyday her charity BK 2 Basics Melbourne offers bread, and non-perishables to families suffering hardship in her community and beyond. Twice sometimes three times a week she also offers fresh fruit and veg. Kelly’s passion is not only helping families but helping the homeless community in and around Melbourne. Everyday she is making packs, these could be snack packs, shaver, hygiene, dental packs. Sorting donations, of clothes and toiletries. She has public speaking commitments and a wish list a mile long on what she wants to achieve in the next few years. Kelly is very proud, and although we love her for that we also realise that things are going to be extremely tough. Being a Kiwi citizen unfortunately the family aren’t entitled to benefits us Aussies are entitled to. Kelly has 56 days of full on treatment. 6 weeks of daily radiation and 6 days chemo followed by 2 weeks of brachytherapy. I know Kel, and that 56 days will still be about everyone else but herself.
Let's smash this goal for a lady who for one time in her life needs a little help herself. Money will go towards:
Daily parking
Petrol
Wig/wigs
Medications
And all the other costs we don’t think about. Maybe even a few nights away for her and Craig after treatment.
