Support for Mr Sonny

Update: Many people have emailed me thinking that they could no longer donate because we reached our goal. So to avoid confusion I will slightly increase the goal each time it is reached. The money will still be used to pay medical bills and then everyday living expenses. Thank you!  #prayers4sonny

I am the PTA President at Northwoods Elementary where Mr Sonny works as the school's crossing guard. Everyday, rain or shine, he offers a friendly wave to people and…they wave back. He truly cares and loves each child that walks out of that school each day. He is part of our Northwoods family, and we take care of our family. 

This page has been created to help raise support for this loving, dedicated and amazing man, James "Sonny" Alston. Mr Sonny is known and loved by so many in Cary, NC and beyond! ALL funds raised will go straight to Mr Sonny for medical bills and then any expenses once he is home. Lets make sure Mr Sonny can focus on his health and not have to worry about finances. 

We will give updates with permission as we get them. If you would like to drop off cards, Northwoods Elementary in Cary will have a collection box at the front entrance of the school between 9:30am - 3:00pm on school days and all day Saturdays and Sundays.
