Gold Star Wife End of Life Care
Donation protected
Lynn Deem, age 51, is a Gold Star Wife that has been diagnosed with
Stage IV terminal cancer.
She has been fighting her hardest, after undergoing a major operation in March of this year, a round of
chemotherapy and radiation, and a case of multiple lobe pneumonia.
She has been in and out of the hospital with complications for the past couple months, and has recently been discharged to begin home hospice care.
Her son, William, age 14, has already lost his Dad in 2005 when he died serving our country in Iraq. Her other son, Rob, age 25, has
been by her side, balancing his responsibilities as an active duty
Marine and managing the care that is needed for his mom and little
brother.
At this point, Lynn needs caregivers and this cost is not covered by any programs or insurance; it is all an out-of-pocket expense for the family. We are asking for donations to help cover these extensive costs. Any amount is greatly appreciated and will help give Lynn the care that she needs and deserves during this difficult time. Our wish is to make Lynn as comfortable as possible in the time that she has left with her two sons.
If you financially cannot make a
donation, please consider liking this post, sharing it, and please
keep us in your prayers.
