Our charity is not about a single person, it’s not about a single issue, it’s not about reacting to a recent tragedy.  Action By Christians for Haiti is an organization dedicated to making a difference in Haiti, one community at a time.  Making a difference in the lives of thousands of people living in poverty far beyond what most of us can imagine.  

These are a people who survive – barely – on less than $2 US per day and in many parts of the country on less than $1 US per day.

What are we trying to do?  Provide the means to a better life through Education.

What are we trying to accomplish?  Create the opportunity for wealth through work; the opportunity to improve themselves and their community; an opportunity to create future leaders.

How are we going to do that?  Through your generous donations to help educate children, the adults of the future, you give hope, you give intelligent decision making, you give the opportunity to provide for their families, and you give potential future leaders a step in the right direction.

Completely independent of any government organization within the country, 95% or better of your donation goes to support our programs – this GoFundMe project is aimed at providing a part of the yearly tuition for 300 children attending the parish school of Our Lady of the Rosary, Sapaterre, Haiti.

Your $25 donation or more provides for less than 50% of the tuition for the children who attend the parish school – parents must be responsible as far as they are able, to provide a portion of the cost – we are not a welfare organization.   Your donation helps to provide for the education of 300 children, feed 300 children a meal a day during the school year (this may be their only meal that day), provide the materials for classes and helps to pay the salaries of the teachers.
