One of my closest and dear friends has been diagnosed with cancer. For about the last month and a half she has been in and out of doctors appointments with scans and consultations. About 5 weeks ago she received the news that she had tumors on her left kidney, spine and bladder and has been been diagnosed with a type of cancer called sarcoma. Her doctors are proactive in kicking this thing's butt. She has already started chemo and will be traveling to Vandebilt to meet with a sarcoma specialist to see about nailing this on the head! As of right now we don't know what her timeline looks like but will update as soon we know more! This family is so dear to my family and so many others! Donita and I have been talking and thought this would be a awesome way to help support them with any medical expenses and traveling they have to do.Please comtinue to pray for Hannah and her family! She is a strong willed and loving person who will win this battle! With God all things are possible!!
This remainder of this post are a few uplifting things Hannah has posted herself on her Facebook page!
Philippians 4:4-7
"Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. THE LORD IS NEAR. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your request to God. And the peace of God which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
No matter our circumstances God has gone before us and is leading and guiding us through every step.
As the wise Dr. Seuss once said. "You're off to Great Places! Today is your day! Your mountain is waiting. So get on your way!"
I just ask that you keep my family and I in your prayers as we walk through this journey. And I will do my best to keep everyone updated as we move forward.
