It's the most wonderful time of the year, a time to give thanks and spread love to everyone you know during the upcoming holidays. The hope is to be able to give one child of each family a brand new toy for the holidays! But we need all of YOUR help! Think about it anything helps, one donation can contribute to one toy! The holidays are to be a time to lift everyone up and spread joy. You want to be a part of this. :)
This project is a free holiday store for the Delaware children. It is located in Delaware City Vineyard, where FEED the food pantry is. There is a greater need to the Delaware children than one would realize. 8,751 Delaware County residents are food insecure, and 5.2% of that number represent children under 18. That is a lot of children who need toys! I can't even begin to put to words the joy and grace you feel as a parent chooses one toy for their child. The gratefulness they show towards you as you hand them that toy is something irreplaceable.
