Help A Father Fight Cancer

Earlier this year my father, David, was diagnosed with prostate cancer. Though we are incredibly thankful that this cancer has not spread, the size and scope of the tumors require an aggressive treatment plan, and he will need substantial help throughout his recovery. 

My father is known to all as an endlessly selfless and compassionate person; he is the person everyone calls when they need help or advice. Furthermore, he has served for years as the primary caretaker and advocate for my younger brother, Nick, who lives with serious disabilities. The possibility that he will not be able to dedicate as much time or attention to Nick is clearly weighing on my father, and I am aiming to ease as much of his stress as possible. 

We are fortunate that insurance will cover a substantial amount of care, but expenses are already rapidly adding up. Any money donated will be spent on oncology visits, radiation costs, pain relief, and comfort care. More than anything, these donations will ease my father's worries and allow him to spend his time and focus on getting healthy and soaking up time with his family. 

Any and all donations will be helpful and appreciated. I also ask that people please share this posting; treatment is already underway and these funds will be needed sooner rather than later.
