Help a Future Film Student

  Before I get into everything, I would like to thank you for even considering donating. It means the world to me. 
  From a young age, I’ve always wanted to know the ins and outs of film and television. How did they make that happen? What’s needed to create a simple video? What all is needed for a feature film? Just a curious girl sitting in front of a big screen. 
    I grew up watching people on YouTube, and admiring the time and effort they put into creating videos. So, in the summer of 2015, put up my first YouTube video.  Since then I’ve made almost 50 videos... but I don’t like the content. Over the past couple of years, I’ve wanted to expand my horizons and branch into the more creative side of things. The video attached to fundraiser is an example of what I’d like to do with my content, but it’s more on the side of comedy. I want to tell stories. Create characters. Touch the hearts of people watching. I want to create for myself and for others. But I don’t have the equipment for it. Right now I only have a Polaroid 720pi video camera, and while I love it, I would love if I could buy a more high quality camera (and other equipment) to create short films and videos. I will be attending college soon, and I plan on studying film, but I’ll need a portfolio in order to be accepted into many programs.
